The Countdown: Day 10

Hello everyone!

Today is Day 10 of our 10 Day Countdown. In layman's terms, that means that today is the last day of our 10 Day Countdown, and that means that we leave tomorrow.

But the end of the Countdown is not the end of it all. In fact, it's more of a beginning. As we move through the UK and form our home base in Scotland, we'll bring you bigger, flashier, and pompous-er videos!

In fact, someone high up in our organization said to me in passing that such a video is coming your way tomorrow.

So don't leave us now, cause the best is (probably) yet to come! And in the meantime, enjoy our last video...

John from Canada

The Countdown: Day 7

Greetings,

Welcome to day 7 of The Countdown! In an effort to keep the Countdown fresh and exciting like Pepsi's new slogan "Pepsi, Fuck Ya" we've changed some of our conventional filming techniques.

In this video we decided to go for a pompous film/ after school special vibe. However, The level of pompous after school specialness was so great that it took 5 times longer than normal for the computer to render and publish it. We apologise for the lateness and any inconvenience this may have caused for you and promise to allow for the level of pompousness in any further videos. Enjoy day 7 and we will see you again on day 8.

Thanks for the interest,

Stuart from Canada

The Countdown: Day 6

It's day 6 and we are more then halfway through our 10 day countdown. Today's post was shot in the wee hours of the morning and resulted in a very grumpy John.

The Countdown: Day 5

Hello everyone,

Today is Day 5...exactly halfway through our countdown. With six days remaining, we now can finally say we are leaving in under a week.

Today's theme, Fun on a Budget, is brought to you from the astoundingly boring campus of Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario.

If you wanna join in on the fun, send your photos of Dressy Dressy to john@lastoke.ca!

See you on Day 6!

The Countdown: Day 4

Good Morning, Good Afternoon, or Goodnight,

There are only 7 days left until John and I fly into the wild blue yonder. In 7 days you could die from watching a video in which a girl comes out of the T.V and kills you, or you can create the world, again. In 7 days you can watch 504 episodes of Friends, or commit 1 of each of the 7 deadly sins. For today's entry John and I travelled to Peterborough Ontario. On the road trip up I had a revelation about traveling and the feelings that one goes through during the actual process of getting from one place to anther. I recorded my thoughts on what it feels like in the day 4 video entry.

Enjoy and thanks for the interest,

Stuart From Canada

The Countdown: Day 3

Hello from Stuart,

It is day 3 of our 10 day count down to leaving, in simpler terms that means there are 8 days left until we leave. To put that in perspective that is one day longer then it took to create the earth, or 1 complete celebration of Chanukah. You can complete 1 game of monopoly in 8 days or half a game of risk. You can also watch the extended edition of the fellowship of the ring in 8 days, but only once.  Here are some bad movies with 8 in the title:
  • Eight Crazy Nights (bad movie)
  • Eight Legged Freaks (bad movie)
I thought I could think of more

Thanks for the Interest,

Stuart From Canada

The Countdown: Day 2

Hey everyone!

It's Day 2 of our 10 Day Countdown, which means we officially leave the country in 9 days.

9 days, for perspective, is enough time to take a road trip across Canada and back, stopping along the way.

It's also not enough time to mail something to Montreal and get a response. Goddamn Canada Post...

Here's hoping I spend these 9 days doing something like driving across the country and not something like using Canada Post.

Day 2's theme: winter driving. Enjoy!

The Ten Day Countdown

Greetings,

Today is the 1st day of our count down. Before viewing day 1 of the count down I wanted let everyone know that John and I have finally finished our last days of work at our jobs, thank god. That being said, until now we haven't fully realised that we are in fact leaving, and we've got the plane tickets to prove it. Enjoy.
